Terry Burns, Republican candidate for the WV 53rd District of the House of Delegates, is a native and lifelong resident of the district. Tristian Leavitt his opponent, an attorney from Washington DC, came here about a year ago for the purpose of buying a seat in the WV Legislature. Leavitt has raised upwards of $56,000 with little if any of it coming from the 53 Delegate District. Rather it has come from places like Arlington, VA, Stafford, CA, Jurupa Valley, CA, Springfield, VA, Lehi, UT, Washington, DC, MacLean, VA, New Bern, NC, New York City, NY, New Orleans, LA, Pasco, WA, Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA. If you don't want to be bought by outside interests I urge the people of the 53rd Delegate District to vote for Terry Burns.
